Like the title says. I have a Sony Optiarc 5280S-CB-Plus burner. I have used it once before to make a back up of one of my games. It worked great. As I was removing from an old PC into a new one my cat knocked it off my tower and it hit the floor could that be causing it? I literally just got this thing back from the manufacture because they sent me a non-overburn one despite it saying it had overburn capabilities. The fall was no higher than a foot and it was onto carpet, thanks for any help.

They sent me the wrong burner, they replaced it with the correct one, so I'm assuming it's a brand new unit and not just a Firmware update. I'm gonna email them in a bit if there is no way around fixing it myself. They are very good with customer service.
