Hi LouisIsMyDOG
The Radeon HD 7970 requires a psu with 30A on the +12v rail and a 500W psu minimum
The Thermaltake W0131RU 850W has 62A on the 4 combined +12v rails and heaps more wattage than you need
From what i can see that card has 1 x 6pin pcie power connector and 1x 8pin pcie power connector
and your power supply has 2 x 6pin pcie power cables and 2 x 8pin pcie power cables
so my friend you are good to go :)

It should be fine. That is a lot of PSU.

My power supply only has two 6 pin connectors and the video card has one 8 pin connector and one 6 pin connector. That is not a problem right?

I bought this card on eBay and I want to make sure I did not get chipped. The card won't post or have any output signal.

Sorry I didn't get back earlier, but lost my internet temporarily and don't like using my phone for that. Okay. I didn't check that. It's a problem as you need all of that power. I think you may be able to get a Molex adapter for that. I will check.

UPDATE: Okay, here is one: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-LP4PCIEX8ADP-6-Inch-Express-Adapter/dp/B006PHXLRG/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1402752328&sr=1-7&keywords=molex+to+8+pin+pcie
