So I just overclocked my q6600 (Yes old I know...) to 3.0Ghz and I'm getting idle temps at like 44-46*c and near max load at 55-60*c so is that safe?
My specs are
Intel Core2 Q6600
EVGA 750i FTW
EVGA 9600GTx2 SLI
Corsair CM2X 1024-6400 4GB Ram sticks
1TB HDD
And also if possible can you give me the minimum voltage for my Q6600 to run and 3.0Ghz so I can save some money and create less heat?
(I'm only 13 please be nice to me)

Is it stable at 3 ghz on the default voltage? Have you run stability tests like prime95? The voltage setting is trial and error really. Start at stock and see if you are stable. Then go up in small increments until stable. Are you using the stock INTEL heatsink/fan?

No I'm not using the stock heatsink I'm using the ASUS Silent Square Pro. And I don't think It's going to work at stock voltages because I've tried the thing a couple of times...god it's so tedious...
