Hello, yesterday I got a blue screen that had the error message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL" or something around those lines. So I used the program "verification" and rebooted my laptop and it was super laggy. It would be easier to list the things I tried in order:
-Deleted 100GB+ of unneeded content.
-Uninstalled most of the programs I am not using.
-Then I went into safe mode and there was no lag
-Downloaded CCleaner, Malwarebytes and Bitdefender. Deleted all Malware/Virus then I cleaned out all my temp files and registry files.
-Still no progress so I looked up some tricks like moving all my big files off the desktop and changing the Aero theme.
And after all this only a little bit of performance change was noticeable, although my CPU/RAM usage was no longer a problem. So anyone know a fix. I've been at this for 3 days straight.

Edit: Its a Dell Inspiron 15 N5050 with a i3-2350M at 2.3GHZ and 4GB RAM(DDR3).
