i just ordered this power supply

after installing, not only does my PC not power up, but the mobo light that was always green, now turns on and off. is it possible that my old PSU fried out my mobo or CPU? what should i do and how can i pin point the actual problem?

ok, but the old PSU was even worse. it was some logisys 450w POS. i tested the new sentey i installed and it works in another PC. my main question is what could be wrong with the rest of my pc and/or how do i pin point the problem?

Well if the Sentey works in another computer you might have a bad board.

Be careful running that supply as it is also very poor.

thanks for the info. also, if it's a bad board, is it possible my CPU is shot as well? i JUST finished this build a month ago, and you can probably imagine my heart is broken

CPU's usually are ok , more likely the board.
