So I got my fresh new build pc from microcenter and everything seemed okay until I wanted to try to install my new Video card which is: (Gigabyte gtx750ti 2gb pcie ddhh).

I plugged it in and when i turned on my pc the monitor never lit up and it stayed black. I raised the volume up and it sounds like windows booted up correctly. What I can't understand is why is this happening when I plug in the videocard into my new board and it won't show on screen.

Side things are: The monitor that i'm using is vga only, but my video card doesn't have a blue vga it has two weird white ones which i don't know about. It has two HDMI ports but I won't be able to use it until i get my new monitor tomorrow. I know i rambled for so long but please this is pretty frustrating and i wasted three hours trying to figure it out. Please and Thanks!!! :)

Check you've plugged it in correctly - right graphics card port, right monitor port. right cable, an adapter (eg dvi to vga) id required.

Check your monitor specs and graphics card specs. Sounds like you need to plug in a DVI to VGA adapter to the DVI-I port on the card.

Ask MicroCenter to help.
