Anyone got any ideas why there is an odd ticking sound from all ports bar one.
((Pasted from Gigabyte help thingy))
I have two of the exact same motherboards running right now, G1.Sniper Z87. Only one jack works.
FYI I used a different USB ports. Also Sound Blaster is installed.
I plug in my head phones using USB + 3.5mm
I can try all other out ports, one set being connected via the case. They all have this odd ticking sound, with a lil bit of static.
I tried another set of USB headphones, same issue.
I try a normal plain set of headphones, only the 3.5mm jack and no sound at all.
I try another set of the plain headphones, same result.
I then try it all again on the other comp and exact same issue.
Attached is an image of the back panel of the motherboard diagram. The one with the red X is the only one which works.
If I try plugging my headphones into the "headphone" jack at the back labeled (n) in the diagram. I get this horrendous sound, like screeching and squeeling. I am honestly kinda freaked out at 2am in the morning...
I try plugging my speakers in that port and... I couldn't mute them I couldn't even turn it down. I had to frantically try and remove the 3.5mm from that port.
