Okay so im currently buying a new motherboard (MSI Z97-G45 GAMING, LGA1150, Intel Z97, DDR3, ATX) and a cpu (Intel Haswell i5-4670K, LGA1150, 3.4GHz, 6MB) and i currently have 2x4gb of kingston ram (KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX). The ram is not on the qvl so im still not quite sure if its okay to buy the mobo, i know that the qvl is just the list that they have tested the mobo with but ive been hurt before. Anyone maybe have any experience or knowledge on this particular problem?

They should work fine, might check and make sure you have the latest BIOS if any problems, MSI is slow on the DRAM updates on their mobos, if still problems, give me a shout, DRAM is sort of a specialty of mine
