Does this 360mm radiator fit in the top of an h440?

Solution
For the gtx 770 it will fit 100% with about an inch to spare from the hard drive cage, if you removed the cage you could even fit a 12in video card in it. I wouldn't recommend installing it super close up front, I would recommend installing it in the very back. because the vent holes on the top pretty much end an inch after the first two top fans first being the first fan in the back. as long as it is a 240mm rad and not something like a 280mm rad the offset 120mm mounting points will give you more than enough room.

The only way that would fit is if you took out all hard drive cages in the front and installed it there, the h440 hardly has enough room for a push or pull config of a closed looped cooler like the h105 from corsair. If you did install it in the front you could even do a push pull config.

Hmm, ok. Do you think that I could potentially Get a radiator the size of an h105 (39mm) and paint it white? Is it even possible or safe to paint the rims of a radiator.

I am still trying to get my liquid cooling system components together, so I tend to have lots of questions regarding the topic.

Also if you want a picture of how much room you have on the top of the case for a rad I can show you just how close a slim rad like the h100i comes to touching the heat sink on the top of the motherboard if you would like. It isn't my personal build, but a clients that I am shipping out tomorrow.

If you get something like white car paint you could, I just wouldn't pain any of the fins, but I've done it before by covering up the fins on the rad and then painting it another color by priming it with car primer, and then painting it what ever color that you want. I would recommend buying a few jugs of distilled water, and cleaning the rad before you paint it to get out the gunk that they always come with.

I will probably just stick with a radiator the size (thickness) of my H105

Yeah that will fit, even on a motherboard with heatsinks that are very high up on the board. Just a tip for the h440 I would recommend installing the power cables first before you install any other fans or the rad, I would also save the video card and ssds for last. I noticed that the first time that I built in one that there wasn't enough room to get the 8 pin power connector through after the rad was installed. I don't know what you are planning on taking from your other build to this one but if you don't plan on sleeving anything, I would recommend a power supply with flat cables for easy cable management.

I am shifting everything except I got a new motherboard. The cables kindahave what you would call "net sleeving" because they are not individually sleeved. Will my reference 770 fit in this case as well?

Also about the h105, I am looking to install it on the first two fan spots on the top closest to the front. Is that possible?
