I am building a new gaming pc and need opinions on my hardware choices the unit will be custom water cooled with plates for cpu and gpu. my list is as follows:
CPU: FX9590
MOB: Crosshair V
GPU: GTX780 6gb
RAM: Gskil ripjaws 32gb
SSD: 840 EVO 500bg
SSHD: Seagate 2gb

Solution
If you have the money to get a 9580 (9590?), your money is seriously better spent on an i7. You could likely get a brand new i7-4790k for roughly the same price, and get a vast world of difference when it comes to performance, and it would likely run cooler, whether or not it's air or water cooled. Plus, it would use about half the power, at the very least, of the 9590.

From what I've seen, the ASRock Z97(X?) Fatal1ty Killer performs just as well as the new line of ASUS Maximus boards. Honestly though, if you just throw a rock towards Gigabyte, ASUS, or ASRock, you'll get a good board. Just look for the features that you're interested in.

As for the PSU, there's very little reason to go with something that high. 1200W would easily power 3 GPUs. I'd suggest getting a good ~850W PSU, that will allow you to easily overclock everything, and add a second card. Antec HCG, Corsair AX/HX/TX, SeaSonic, or XFX.
