Hey. I have a rosewill ranger m with a AMD fx 4300, 2gb 7770, 8gb ram, and a ga78lmt-usb3. I just ran a stress test and at 4.2ghz, I get around 35 degrees idle, and 55 under full load, (not gaming, stress test), after like 5 minuets, but I am receiving the cooler tomorrow. It doesn't require removing your motherboard, but as you can see, I think the wires from my motherboard 24 pin and my hard drive will get in the way. I put the clip on the same side as the stock cooler, right? Should I just make a pull configuration, or just squish it in? Help before tomorrow please..

Are you sure? How do you know? Will I have to remove my motherboard, and what side should I face the fan? Just a little final re-assurance

Face the fan towards your exhaust fan at the back of your case so hot air from your CPU cooler is expelling from the case as quickly as possible

tx3's dimensions are about L90 x W51 x H139mm since H is ~5.5 inches comparing to your case's dimension which is 6.89" x 13.86" x 15.26" (W x H x D) so i assume you will have enough space for the cooler. and yes you will have to remove mobo in order to install the cooler and the cooler's fan will face toward rear fan ex: (rear fan) <--push hot air--- (heatsink)(cooler)

So pulling air or pushing, from the right of the picture to the left or left to right ( mount fan on right or left)

Why do I need to remove the motherboard? It doesn't require a backplate, and in this video, this guy did it in his case

Oh, alright, no problem! Phew. So do you think it is big enough to put my hands in and install (6'1 14y/o) :p .
After this I am going for an ssd, and then a while after a case.

Gta v is confirmed on Steam for fall :D

hmm...i think you might be able to do it without problem but its better if you unplug all cables around cpu and put them in one side then rearrange them after youre done installing the cooler

Yeah, I'm planning on unplugging the 8pin on the top right of the board and putting it undder the optical drive. Is that enough? I think it should be good. Ram won't be in issue because im using 2 slots, not 4. (kind of hard to see, one doesn't have a heatsink, but same timings and clock speed.

Would I put the clip on the same side as my stock cooler?

Easiest install of my life, just had to flip fan hecuase it hit sata cables. Maxes under 50 degrees at 4.2ghz :D .

congratz :)  oh wait you placed the cooler's fan on wrong side, it was supposed on right side which push air back to other side to the rear fan

I tried, but the sata cable from my hard drive hit the fan. Once I upgrade my case, and actually have space, I will make it a push pull configuration.

yeah later when you have a chance to upgrade the case, you will also upgrade a better cooler or even closed loop cooler. who knows right?

Yup, after my case and monitor upgrade, not sire what I'm going to upgrade. Im satisfied with my GPU, and will pvetclock my CPU more, so we'll see. Should I get a case or ssd first?

grab a case first, and wait for a better cost and performance sdd

The ssd performs similarly to the 840 pro. I only have sata 2, so I will get the the same perfromance on this and a m1000 from crucial. I think I should go with a better case instead, lol.

Also, I don't have to save any of the screws from this case? I will keep them in a ziplock, but cases come with motherboard screws and the hdd and psu screws and all of that right. I have like 20 ziptipes, sho I think it'll be okay.

when you have upgraded a new case, no worries about screws because it will be always included. also think of changing psu because cx version is wellknown for failing at high load.

Yeah, but mine isn't running at a high load. A 4300 and 7770 should be fine. I look to upgrade like this

ssd>case+an extra cpu fan>monitor> ummm..... I could get a fan controller maybe>a new psu> and then motherboard +cpu. Maybe next year this time I will get a better gpu or go intel or something hmm...
