Is this good motherboard for gaming? I want to use gtx 780 ti with i7 4770k i dont care much about motherboard overclock features

i want to do white and black build it's the only one i find interesting...

People are telling me to use z97 if i overclock.. why? can't i still do a really small overclock with z87? im too afraid to kill something with a big one

Come on. Z87 has a great potential for overclocking. This mobo has 8+2 power phase so much room for overclocking. Z97 is basically stepping version of Z87 with addition of M.2 PCI support and SATA Express.
