hey just got bf4 on disc but there 3 and i got this pc from my friend with bf4 already on it so can i just put in code to orig

so i got a pc from my friend and it can run bf4 no probs but when i got it he put bf4 on the pc and just told me to get a key from anywhere then put it into origin and press download and the pc will recognise that the game is already on there so it will just install on my origin account but i dont no if this will work plzz help i really badly want to play bf4

So, basically he's telling you to buy it, and u wont have to download it, as it's already on the pc?
He's right, you wont have to download it. Buy you'll still have to buy a key.
