5 public ip's in one managed switch, waht Ip should I assigned to the switch
If the ISP gives you 5 public addresses it means you can use 5 port switch and each unit connected to the network using the switch will get own IP address from the list. Write your PC IP address down and try to ping +-5 range... you will most likely have an answer.
For example your PC has 10.0.0.7 ping range 10.0.0.2-12... not very fancy way but should work.

You would be able to assign your managed switch any one of the 5 IP addresses.
I am assuing you have the managed switch or some server providing dhcp to other computers??
Do you have 5 locations or why did you need 5 IP addresses anyway?
