I currently have an old LG NAS N1A1 with 1TB that I need to replace with something that handles more space (I'm guessing about 3 TB?).
I will need to backup 3 laptops (each have around 128-256 GB storage: SSDs), but I also plan to use the NAS with my Raspberry Pi as a shared mounted network drive so that I store all movies/music on the NAS and easily access it from my TV (Rasp Pi runs OpenElec).
I am not sure what the current best brands are, ideally I want full SSH access, VPN would be nice, torrent etc.
I'm based in Switzerland, so generally I would check https://shop.digitec.ch/en/ for the NAS to see if it's available.
