We are planning to buy an Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 and we would like to ask your opinion. We currently have a GIGABYTE Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 and we were motivated to upgrade when we could not run Crysis 3. Although some cheaper cards being sold now like GT610 may also support the game, we prefer to get a gpu that will last for more.

- Do GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti versions make a difference for an avarage gamer?
- We currenty have a 300Watt psu. Should we consider upgrading? We didn't have any problems with my previous card which according to the manual required at least 450 watt whatsoever.
- Are there any significant differences between the GIGABYTE and ASUS versions?
- Is there anything else we should consider when buying a gpu regarding system compatibility?

Thank you.

- Yes - but the 75-ti is on;y about 10% stronger than the 750
- A 450W psu should be OK as long as its not a crappy brand like Zebronics
- Not much difference between brands
These are small cards and should fit most pc's easily.

It should be fine with a 300W psu as long as it has enough amps on the 12V rail for it. This is assuming you have an intel CPU.

Don't get the gt 610 or any of NVidias "gt" range as they are crap and not meant for gaming. With your current power supply the gtx 750 should be just fine

I'm considering an AMD card which is similar to the GTX 750. You say the PSU should not be a crappy brand, so hows the Corsair VS550. I've read a lot of negative feedback about it. Unfortunately I got it before I read opinions. Will the VS550 be enough for the AMD R9 270/270X?

VS is not certified so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Get an XFX 550 instead
