I have an HP2000 Laptop, i recently sold it to a friend, it was working fine but then the person i sold it to took it to a tech person to have it cleaned up. Now he can't connect to WIFI and when i had it , it was working fine, I don't know what this person did but im hoping you can help me out, I had no trouble with this computer before. The first line of attack is to reinstall the drivers for the specific WiFi hardware. I can't tell you how because I am still a Win 7 user.
But I agree with the above advice, take it back to the guy that "fixed" it.
