I have a camera but it has stopped working

I can no longer be seen on Skype tho it is only a recent problem I have a camera built in so don't understand what has caused it to stop When I go to device manager it isn't even listed anymore

Unplug and plug it back see if Windows detect it.
Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc > right click on your computer name and scan for hardware changes
Run Windows update and/or update the webcam with their latest drivers
