Any help would be great.

I can't get a signal on my vga monitor.
I've added a HD 7850 to my desktop along with a 500w psu to run it.
The pc has a8-5500 apu with hd 7560d onboard.

I've plugged the monitor into the correct dvi slot with an adapter. The new card appears in device manager, working properly. (I've updated the drivers for it.)

I get the 3 beeps when I try to start it. The monitor only works in the old vga socket.

Again, any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
Although brand new, it is a low quality power supply. You risk breaking all your pc hardware connected to that or even start a fire. Ditch it immediately. You should never cheap out on power supply. It is singly the most important part in your PC since it is supplying power from the wall.
Here an analogy, why get a cheap battery in a car that easily fails then a better quality battery.

Arianet 450W power supply aren't good for gaming pcs either. They for office pcs that doens't use discrete graphic card really.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I have tried this. When I plug the monitor into the graphics card socket (using a dvi/vga connector) I get no signal and 3 beeps.
The device manager shows the new card as working properly, so I really don't understand where the fault is.
