What PSU are you getting? If it's a great quality and well build 500w you will be fine. If it's some cheap piece of junk then it's probably not a good idea. You machine will probably be using somewhere near 300-325 watts or so (maybe a little less) and some cheap 500's aren't even rated to push that out on their 12v lines because of their design.

500 should be fine, check that it has 30 or more AMPs on the 12 volt rail ;)

Just as an FYI for the OP... 30 amps on 12 volts is 360 watts.

Yes it's not the best , but will power your system with the card.

It has 42 amps on the 12v rail which is plenty.

Use the Corsair , included supplies are poor quality.

will the zalman work ?!
if i will use corsair i will have to buy a case without a psu (we don't have any case + more than 500w in egypt)
so the case with the psu is much cheaper i still can get cooler master k380+ extreme power plus 500w psu
which case + psu is better !?

Yeah, it should work fine. I really don't like the design of piggy backing the 6-pin PCI-E power connectors or the dual rail design, but it should run the machine fine. What you might do is if you plan to upgrade your machine in a year or two is plan ahead to replace the PSU as part of that upgrade cycle. At least that way you don't rely on the machine once the PSU starts aging and deteriorating over time.
