There's a small chance it might work, but no guarantee of it as there is no official support.

I know it "officially" doesn't support it but some have claimed with a different BIOS that they could get it to work? I don't know? sure would be awesome to slap that on there though, it would be a real smoker then.

Well that would sure be nice, but all you really can do is try it with different versions of the BIOS. Or does the BIOS need to be modded?

Yep, that should be the main issue since the board supports CPUs like the i7 990X too, so running the Xeon X5650 should be easy.

I couldn't find anything with Google, so if you can find somebody who was able to do this, you should try to contact them directly.
