FPS dropped for unknown reason

lately my FPS have dropped to 15 to 20 in almost every game I play and I usually have a solid 60 or more.

If you have any idea how to fix this please tell me.

windows 7
intel core I5-4200m CPU 2.50GHz
RAM 8GB
system type: 64 bit
Intel HD Graphics 4600
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB GDDR5

I don't know if that is enough but this is what I found

Well as I mentioned, before I would have 60 FPS or more and now I only get about 15 to 20 FPS, I didn't do anything to my PC I don't know where the problem comes from.

It would appear that you have a laptop.
If it has a discrete graphics chip, I suspect that you have turned it off or got into battery power saving mode. Is it plugged in and charging?
Is there a endurance/performance switch?

I do have a laptop It is the latest edition of the Alienware 14.
About the graphic chip I don't know if there is one, it is not in battery saving mode because when I play it is always charging.

updated the driver lately? can you see if the games is running on the GeForce or the intel?

Right click on your desktop.
If there is an option for nvidia settings, select that.
Then look at manage 3d settings.
There will be a tab that allows you to select your preferred graphics processor.
Select the high performance nvidia processor.

If you see auto select as an option, you are possibly running using the intel graphics because your battery is bad and not charging that will push you into battery savings mode.

My NVIDIA driver was up to date but I just updated my INTEL graphics driver but Idon't know if i can see if it is running in intel or nvidia

OK Thx I just did that I will try it right now see if it works.

That didn't work I still have low frames...
