As i was going through the forums and reading the articles about the upcoming hardware, suddenly my mind changed the channel.I had decided all the things for my rig, but eventually my mind changed for upcoming hardware,so i am confused whether to buy current haswell cpu and ddr3 memory or to wait for the upcoming DDR4 memory module, new MOBOs and new CHIPSET.My budget is 3500$.

Secondly, sorry for my bad English and Thanks in advance.

With that kind of budget I'd highly recommend a large display, or even multiple displays. As of now the new 4K displays are pretty expensive and need two 780ti's to really run so that alone would eat your budget.

I'd not go down the 2011-3 package Haswell - E. They just don't give much extra gaming speed over the cheaper 1055. I believe Broadwell for desktops won't be out til next year and I hear they may not be much faster yet again. The DDR4 RAM speed will be useless. The 2011 has twice the memory speed of the 1055 yet is about the same in game speed. Only once you get above 100 FPS can it make a difference. Now the DDR4 will be twice as fast as the 2011 DDR3 which already is well past diminishing returns. Again, it probably will...

CPU speed also is of limited use. However, in the newest of games and especially with multi-player games that extra CPU power can be useful.

In short, I'd recommend the following:

All the best quality components and those two R9 290X's will drive your display to beyond 60FPS with any game and settings.

It all depends on if you can wait or not.

It might be a good idea to wait for Broadwell and DDR4 but only if you don't need a computer in the meantime.

The DDR4 is coming with the Haswell E this September and the 2011-3 package.

I don't think even the Broadwell 1055 will have DDR4.

Oh wow, you're right. I just kinda assumed.

The OP could probably get the Xeon 1230v4, which would be DDR4 capable, and hopefully like the current 1230v3, cost just a little more than the i5.
