Okay so I just installed a Asus maximus vii hero and at the top of the rght hand corner and it said "FE"... With a beep.... Beep,beep sound... Oh god I hope I didn't break anything

Try reseating the RAM and/or booting up with one stick at a time.

While I agree re-installing Windows is a good idea, it shouldn't cause this kind of problem.

Try removing the hard drive and booting without it plugged in to see if that is the problem. If not, then try resetting RAM...

What does resetting the ram mean? Like put it in a different slot? Because I read the manual and it do have it in the right spot... I think

Its a physical button on the motherboard itself on the top right hand corner

I meant re-SEAT as in removing and reinstalling the RAM. You can also try to put the stick in different slots since you only have one stick. This is more or less to make sure you installed the RAM correctly.

Also, what is the EXACT beeping pattern the mobo is giving you (long beep, short beep, etc.)?

Since you only have one RAM stick there is a chance that just the stick is defective. Only suggestion now is to find another (working) stick and test it, whether that involves asking a friend or exchanging the stick is up to you.

Take a look at this site: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/nonworkingcomponent/ht/beepcodestb.htm You will need to troubleshoot using the beep codes. Looking at your motherboard manual I believe that you have AMI BIOS, so follow that path. The other thing you may need to do is to clear your CMOS, see page 1-29 of your manual. (That was the page I found after downloading the manual from the ASUS web site, your manual MAY be different so look for the motherboard's layout page, description page and see what page the clear CMOS button is on).
