I want to overclock my r9 280x to get a little fps boost in watch dogs, but i dont if my 550w thermaltake smart power can handle it..
Here's my specs:
AMD FX 8120 - oc'd to 4 ghz
Gigabyte Windforce OC rev 2 R9 280x
ASRock 970 extreme 3
8gb DDR3 1866 G.skill (single channel)
1 TB Hard drive
550W thermaltake Smart Power
7 Case Fans + 240mm Radiator
DVD/CD Rom
19 pin 3.0 Header Add on card

yes it will be fine to overclock with that PSU, make sure u read a bit on overclocking before doing so.

doubt u will get an fps boost in watch dogs by OCing, the game is just poorly optimized.
it probably aint even using ur gpu to the max as is.( only assuming, not sure)
just wait for a watch dogs patch instead, if u r only OCing because of watch dogs.
