Hi guys, so my computer has been out for about a month but a couple days ago I was finally able to get a new mobo and everything was working again. Until all of the sudden, everything shut off. No warning. I turned it back on and resumed my activities. About an hour later, it happened again. This cycle continued for about 3 days until today, now it wont turn back on. The fans turn on for half a second and the LEDs flash, then it goes dark again. I unplugged the 24 pin from the mobo and jump started it and everything turned on then, but just a flash when using the main power button. This was the exact problem I was getting before I replaced the motherboard.

Specs:
AMD FX-6300 (Originally FX6100, replaced from AMD)
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (Originally Sabertooth 990FX R2.0)
(2x) Sapphire R9 270
Corsair CX750M
8 gigs Crucial Ballistix 1600
Corsair H100i CLLC
Windows 7 Home 64 bit

bad cpu........... bad power supply......... see you have an H100......... remove pump from cpu. clean up/reapply new thermal paste........... reinstall. make sure you gradually tighten the hold down screws in a criss-cross pattern around the cpu a little at a time until properly screwed in. make sure the pump is flush on the cpu.

do a fresh install of the operating system after the swap did you?

No a fresh install but I had to re verify. I cannot do a criss cross pattern because theres only 2 screws on an AMD socket.

did you pull and reseat?..................... do you have another power supply to try? can you borrow one?.............. do you have any fans blowing across your motherboard. when you add water cooling you automatically take away, in most cases, the only air that blows across the circuitry surrounding the cpu.

The radiator is at the top of the case with air being pulled into the case so there is ample airflow to the motherboard. I can try another power supply. Do you think 750 watts is enough?
