I see Kaveri supports 2400 MHZ memory as low as 1.25V. The motherboard I am interested in is this one:
http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/A88XME/overview/
The memory QVL shows that the motherboard supports 2400 MHZ memory at 1.65v.
So, I would like to use 2400 MHZ memory to make the most of the on-die GPU, but all the 2400 MHZ RAM I find is 1.65v. Will that still be safe and compatible with the AMD A10-7850K Kaveri?

I think you may be confusing CPU core voltage with memory voltage. They are separate.

1.60-1.65v for DDR3 2400 is normal and should be fine.

Thanks for the reply. No, I know the difference. What I am referring to is the memory voltage supported by the APU itself since the memory controller is on-board the APU. This article, http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_a10_7850k_apu_... states:
"Kaveri comes with a dual-channel memory controller with official support up-to 2400 MHz, with support for low voltage memory support which will make the use of 1.25V and 1.5V very easy."

I just didn't know if the APU and motherboard could support 2400 MHZ memory @ 1.65v
