Hi,
I have a Compaq AMD 2.4 32 system with 4 gigs Ram . I was running a WD10EZEX Blue drive and Windows 7 Ultra OS. My Pc started getting slower and slower with freezes and finally BSOD ( blue screen ) when I went next time to boot it would go to a back desktop and retried booting and would not boot. I put Windows disc in and wouldn't even boot in safe mode. I removed the disc and used a smaller hard drive with Vista on it ..booted fine but put the 1TBit a docking station it reads but only about 99 MB not the total 1TB ( I know it wont read but 900 something MB of it ). I cant open it I had used about 40 gigs of the space and need some of those pictures back. It will teach me Not to back it up every once and while. Shy of spending big money to recover is there anything I can do shy of reformatting the drive and all is lost ??? Thank you for your valuable time...Wayne H.
PS : I am so on the crap list with my daughter and wife over this !!!!!
