That will handily outperform ANYTHING from AMD in mini-ITX. If your budget doesn't allow that, switch in an Intel i3-4150 instead and keep the same motherboard.

FM2+ supports a much higher screen resolution. That's where all the extra transistors went. To quote from the Gigabyte website:
" * The resolution of 4096x2160 can be supported when using an FM2+ APU; the maximum resolution supported is 1920x1200 when using an FM2 APU."
