Okay, I've had no luck with this one thus far, and figured it'd be a good idea to turn to the experts.
I'm running Windows 7 (x86) on my dad's laptop and it's got a virus. the virus continues to re-create a .exe file named "zekib.exe" in the AppData folder. the current antivirus program I'm using (avast! free) keeps moving the file to the virus chest, and from what I can tell, it re-creates the file every single second, and the program moves it to the chest. I don't know what the source of the constant re-creating virus is, but, it's rather aggravating. I suspect its something hidden, as I ran a boot-time scan twice over, and it didn't find the source, though it did find other crap like rootkits and Trojans. Any suggestions?
