I don't know a ton about computers, so I need some help with this. I recently purchased a samsung 2243 monitor which supports full 1920x1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. I just put windows 8 on my new computer. I went to the resolution thing after right clicking on the desktop, but it only shows 768, something else, and 1200. I have an Asus gtx 770 gpu, from which I have a dvi adapter to a VGA cable. What do I need to do to get 1080p?!!? Please help.
