add printer to taskbar

If you must have an icon on the taskbar you could try enabling the Quick Launch toolbar (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975784). Then go devices and printers, right click and hold on the printer and drag it to the Quick Launch toolbar and choose the option "Create Link in Quick Launch".
