Hi everyone. I've read plenty of posts here and have found that you guys have the answers! However with this new problem. I'm gunna need extra help.

My actual goal is to oc my i3770k but I'm starting to believe that I'm not going to be able to accomplish that with my current bios f10. Can't change any setting in bios to the cpu.
I have read that the uefi bios will allow me to do so.

Qflash and the utility can't be used to update bios. Has to be achieved through dos. I have followed word for word the process on how to flash a USB and then copy the 3 files that are required for the bios update. I try to boot through USB. It's a no go. Goes straight to windows. Now I check the USB to see if the files have actually saved. The batch file is missing. I copy the three files again and try once more. Still won't update. And every time the batch file is missing.

Maybe I'm doing something really stupid and that I just need fresh eyes on this. I appreciate any help and apologise if forgotten anything or not providing enough information.
Thanks

The bacth file was always there just wasnt showing up. My usbs were just being weird. Go for the bios update. Everything works fine for me. Can finally overclock cpu. And boot times are faster. Only thing I had to change was sleep mode. Id have prime95 going then it would go to sleep and bsod

Watch "Upgrading to UEFI BIOS for Gigabyte Motherboards" on YouTube

Follow that process and ur golden. Only thing that I did differently was that I selected usb - hdd instead of usb-fdd. Wouldnt work otherwise
