After pruchasing a 550W Smart SE Power Supply by Thermaltake to replace my old PowerLogic PSU, everything in the PSU runned fine until the Power Cable become sensitive. When giving the powercable a little push, the power will cut off.I have another cable from the old PSU but I'm not sure if Its advisable to use it. The Newer cable has a 13A Fuse while the old one has a 5A Fuse so I'm not too sure if I should continue using the one with the 5A Fuse although my PC still runs normally on the old cable. Advise and Solutions appreciated :)

Hi Furrydaus
i would not use the other cable plus that PSU has low grade capacitors
as i7baby said i would return the Thermaltake 550W and replace that psu for a quality one from
XFX or seasonic , or any psu from corsair's TX,HX or AX range of PSU's
as they all have high grade japanese capacitors

Sorry if this sounds really noob but why is there a need to have better capacitors? I find the PSU I have to be quite decent. ITs only the Cable that is making me question myself

But right now I just need to be assured about whether I can use the old cable or not. I can worry about replacing my PSU Later
