I have intel i3 4130, zotac NVIDIA 650Ti 1gb graphic card, gigabyte h81m s1 motherboard, 4 gb 1600 mhz ram.

I want to know that while playing game both the graphics memory (intel hd graphics 4400 and nvidia-gtx 650Ti) are used or only discrete graphic card gtx 650Ti is used.

Sorry if I asked something stupid.

Thanks in advance.

HumdrumPenguin, that is incorrect.

If the monitor is plugged into the 650Ti, it will only use the 650Ti.

On notebooks, this is different, and they will switch, because they are both outputting to the same monitor.

On desktop, you will usually only have one GPU plugged into the monitor. When a discrete card (In this case, a GTX 650Ti) is installed, the inbuilt GPU (HD 4400) is disabled.

I don't know why the heck I said that, but when I saw those 2 graphics processors I just thought about a laptop and forgot to check out whatever else there was to be read.
