i want to know about RAM performance

Hi...i have Team Elite RAM's 2x4GB and it's have 1600Mhz clock but my processor is sandy bridge intel and it says max support memory is 1333Mhz clock...can i get the 1600mhz RAM's speed on my PC?thanks if you dont mind to answer my thread

Intel is conservative when they spec that CPU for DDR3-1333. Plenty of people run it much faster than that with some tweaking.

What mobo and CPU? For most, simply enable XMP and select profile 1 and should run 1600

With that think you're stuck at 1333 max, set the sticks manually at 1333, 9-9-9-27, 1.5

Your mobo is only rated up to 1333, can always try higher, but 1333 may be the max
