Sup Team,

I consider myself kinda knowledgeable but not today. I have troubleshooting this issue for a while now. I initially installed Windows in AHCI mode and the drivers were present in the Device Manager. Somewhere along the way my boot time made me suspicious about something going on. Ran virus/malware checks, which turned up nothing. Well nothing that could solve my problem. My SSD is still list as being set in AHCI mode through Samsung Magician and the BIOS setting on my ASROCK 990FX extreme9 still displays AHCI mode. What could have possibly happened?

The only thing I could thing of as a result is when I use an IDE adapter to view files on an old hard drive of mine. Still, I was already booted in to the OS when I hooked it up. Could this be the culprit? Whats the fix if it is?

Anyway, here are all of the components in my build to include whats attached to it:

+AMD FX-8320
+Asrock 990fx Extreme 9
+Sapphire Dual R7 265
+Crucial Ballisticx Sport DDR3 1600 - part no. BLS2KIT8G3D1609DS1S00

+2TB Seagate 7200rpm - 2 partitions (Can boot in to win7 from this for security/business reasons)
+2TB WD 7200rpm - Random storage

+Steingberg UR44 Audio Interface (Own Power Source)
+Virus TI Snow Desktop Synth (Own Power Source)
