I have a r9 270x and want to buy a motherboard(cheap) want to install only 8gb ram and i5 4440 but i am confused as which motherboard should i buy a pci 3.0 or pc 2.0 i wanna buy a good mobo but cheapest as possible so shoould i go with this http:// or this http:// please tell diff between them too
Whether or not the motherboard supports PCIE 3.0 depends entirely on the CPU. All LGA1150 boards support PCIE 3.0 and all Haswell-based CPUs support it too.
I wanna fit a i5 4440 and a r9 270x i just wanna know will there be any fps change if i use x16 2.0 in place of 3.0
You cannot have PCIE 2.0x16 on an i5-4xxx unless you force the host-based PCIE 3.0 lanes to run at 2.0 speed or use a GPU that only supports 2.0.
Actuallu i am buying gigabyte h81ms1 which has lga 1150 socket so it supports i5 4440 and i wanna fir r9 270x on pci x16 2.0(as that motherboard dosnt have 3.0) so i just wanna know if there will be major fps drop
