*gt 120 and you need to upgrade both for dota i3 and some gt 600 or 700 series should do the work but for best fps in even other games at atleast medium get a gtx 600 series and i5 3th gen or i3,i5 4th gen.

Upgrading the CPU would mean upgrading the CPU, motherboard, and ram. I think you've got the right idea with upgrading the GPU first to a 750ti. You'll see a bigger difference with the GPU upgrade with your current CPU than you would with a new CPU and your current GPU.

At 1440x900 you should get some decent fps with your current setup and a 750ti.

750 ti well those are great cards nvidia is maybe the best choice between ati?amd but if you're aiming for ubihard games you will get dissapointed like me i can't get wd on high with 60 fps like 40-70 avg 46 ac4 no comment but for other games the 750 ti will be great not on ultra ofc and with smaa

To say that Nvidia is better than AMD is very misleading and makes you a fanboy. None of the companies are better than each other. They have their own pricepoint dominations and pros and cons. For example AMD is the best for the $160-200 and even you can't argue with that. R9 270 priced at $160 and can beat the GTX 750 ti by nearly half at $15 more. TDP doesn't matter when it's only 50 more or so, you would take years to even justify the extra usage of electricity. And then Nvidia leads at the $250 pricepoint with the gtx 760 and so on. And I saw your thread on GTX Titan Z vs R9 295x2 you obviously do not know anything if you say Nvidia is 10X better than AMD ...

By the way its Ubisoft :)  and just go for the 750 ti if you have a really weak power supply. But don't expect to max everything out. You should be able to play all the latest games at your resolution medium settings with 50 FPS or so.

this is my first time in this forum and this is my first post , 750ti and R9 295 are very close in performance and R9 295 is cheaper but 750ti uses 2 times less power and this will pay off in long run

http://www.hwcompare.com/17282/geforce-gtx-750-ti-vs-ra... the R9 270 at $30 more as of now is 70% better than the 750ti and suppose you ran the GPU on full load 24/7/365 it would take only $50 compared to the gtx 750 ti's $18 assuming electricity is at that price. And nobody runs their GPU 24/7/365 on full load :p  correct me if there are people doing that. And the boost is really big, unless you don't have space for a dual fan then the 750ti will be your only option. The GTX 750ti Still the best small card that will fit into almost all PCs out there.
