These usb adapters they are selling from China may be illegal stuff. It does not have any brand name and no drivers comes with it. They claim it is plug and play but that is wrong information. I am trying to contact them and hope they get back to me otherwide I will file a complain with FCC of USA and our attorney generals.

Play and play means that you don't have to physically configure the device and don't have to manually allocate resources to avoid conflicts. It doesn't mean that drivers are not required.

1. thery're selling in china(your statement) - not necessarily the US - so FCC may not even have jurisdiction.
2. plug and play doesn't mean they don't need drivers. many printers are plug and play, but still need installed drivers to actually print.
3. The drivers are probably available on the web.
