elder scrolls a flop?

How can company's come out with games that don't at least match up to wow? I personally haven't played elder scrolls but after reading the reviews on here it sounds like a piece of crap. Can anyone recommend a game that can exceed my expectations? I've played wow for 10 years off and on but looking for something new.

As much of a "flop" as an Elder Scrolls game can really be, anyway. Naturally its going to have a lot of players just due to the franchise and world its set in, but no, it doesn't appear to be a particularly good or relatively successful game.

If you're coming from WoW, what do you want in a new game? If you want something that is more of a traditional MMO (similar to WoW), it sounds like Wildstar is shaping up pretty well. If you want something that is a very non-traditional MMO, give Guild Wars 2 a try.

Oxiide. I've been looking at youtube videos on wildstar. That game looks amazing. Anyone that liked wow I think will absolutely love this game. Oxiide thanks for the help man. I loved tanking with my blood elf tankadin on wow. I think playing the engineer tank in wildstar will be even better.
