There's not many brands to pick here from India, and I've narrowed down my search to the following two graphic tablets:

1. http://www.amazon.in/Wacom-Intuos-Graphic-Tablet-CTH-48...

2. http://www.amazon.in/Wacom-Intuos-Creative-CTH-480-S1-C...

Both of them come with 4 softwares bundled together with it. What I was wondering was if it'd work only with the 4 softwares provided along with it or general, most softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDraw available in the market?

now you might get better software but imo the only program to use with these tablets is photoshop
the software that comes for free is free for a reason :)

Intuos tablets will work with anything, just like a mouse - they connect t the OS via drivers, like any other piece of hardware

In short, they will work with any software

No problem. I have older model Wacom Bamboo Pen and it works without problem also with GIMP and Inkscape which I use. Do not have Photoshop or Illustrator.

The Wacom tablet works both in Windows and also in Kubuntu linux. So no problem there :-)
