Please assess whether these parts are sufficient for a good gaming PC. Please comment on not only whether the total parts are sufficient but whether I should consider different options for each part. Any suggestions or confirmations are beneficial. Thanks.

Solution
^Or you can go with an i5, since for gaming you get absolutely no benefit from an i7. Unless the OP is doing heavy video editing or rendering, there's no reason to get an i7.

I would also get a Samsung 120GB EVO, instead of that SSD. It's cheaper, faster, and you aren't going to need 256GB of SSD storage, trust me. Remember that all data files and most games gain zero benefit from being on an SSD.

You also only need a 550w power supply at the MOST, but that's your call.
