If you are a known klutz, let somebody else do it, otherwise DIY should be fine as long as u don't get impatience and read all documentations.

The only thing I had trouble with is, my motherboard manual shows using thermal compound, but the cpu manual and Intel own video says use the heatsink built-in thermal pad fine. Being a lazy guy, I went with the pad, less messy too.
