Hi, I'm new to Tomshardware, a friend recommended the site. I'm not very experienced on a PC. Although this is my first laptop I've played around with friends, family etc. I've recently just started using torrents (bit of an idea of the level I'm at) and I'm wondering if my Dell Inspiron 1545 is up to the job of playing game torrents like Watchdogs for example and if possible, how do I do it? I'm aware you need to use zip which I'm not familiar with. Any help will be much appreciated and hope to be a long member of Tomshardware.

Don't use torrents. PC games are so cheap that there is really no need to torrent them. Check out greenmangaming as they currently have a sale on, I just picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (an old game I played on xbox 360 years ago) for £1.74. Keep an eye out for Steam sales too, their famous summer sale isn't too far off and most games will be on sale.

I suggest you buy your games, you can get good deals on Steam, Origin, Gamers Gate, Green Man Gaming and Ubisoft.

If you use torrents you can potential download bad stuff and mess up your system...

" I've recently just started using torrents" This is not what is recommended to be saying in this forum!.
How ever,if you do take the torrent path FOR ANY SORT OF FILE! make sure to scan the download folders you use and download quality torrents that have been commented on!,i use torrents for a bunch of freeware games and i find it much faster to download than use the site mirrors!

Ironically I have a gma 4500m in my laptop. Games like tf2 run in the range of 20-30 fps on low settings at resolutions of 800x600. Minecraft barely runs, so I don't think you will have much luck gaming with that laptop.
