I built my PC over a year ago, buy in the last 3 months I have had crashing problems. I have already swapped out a PSU, thinking that was the problem. Whenever it crashes, I am usually doing something memory intensive and using two monitors (it has happened on only one). When it goes, the audio I have playing gets all distorted and the screen freezes. I have also tried reinstalling Windows(7). Can anyone tell me what is happening.

Edit: I was thinking about it, and could it be that I don't have enough memory for what I'm doing?

I ran the test, and logged back into my account. Nothing really popped up except for one message on the taskbar saying no memory errors detected.

HDD or SSD?
Latest Drivers installed?
Latest BIOS installed?

the boot drive is a SSD. I've never changed the drivers or BIOS. How would I go about finding all of the files for that?

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_Download/ choose windows 7 64 / 32 bit (which ever one you have) and then download newer drivers if there are any.

Do I just download the newest file from each section (except like the manual and vendor list)?

yep. if it errors that you have it already installed you have that driver updated already.
As for the BIOS you will have to download the file -> copy it to C: -> go to EZ flash or whatever it's called on your board -> select the BIOS file and confirm you want to flash it.
