Is this an alright Canadian priced build? I've heard ASrock isn't that great in motherboards. Is this true? I've don't know much about PNY. Is there SSD any good? Should I just go with a Crucial or Samsung SSD?

if you're not overclocking then get a non "k" i5 cpu. If you plan to overclock get a Z97 motherboard.
Stick with Samsung SSD.
The asrock motherboard are not bad on intel side.

The EVGA power supply you chosen is decent enough.
If you are worried still, stick with XFX or seasonic power supplies.
