I`ve got a new build going on, and I want the best graphics and speed possible within my price range. Here`s my question: Should I get 2 Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 4 GB GDDR5 and run in SLI? Or get 1 EVGA GTX 780 (SUPERCLOCKED) 6GB GDDR5 384 Bit? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...

I thought and compared and stressed and googled and etc. until I just said f-it and just bought the 780 6gb. added in a Thermaltake 80+Gold 850w psu to go with it. Here I am 30 minutes later, googling to see if two 770's (which I use one 770 now) are better than a single 780 6gb. So far ALL the answers I've seen have said, get the biggest single card.

I always recommend 1 powerful card over 2.
Running with SLI might give you problems, not all games are compatible.
It draws more energy.
You can always buy a second card and SLI it.

Now may I ask if you are gonna use all that power?
