wondering if the a10-7850k would be a better choice as a api than having to buy a separate cpu and gpu. what r7 gpu does the a10-7850k come close to?
would also like to know what r7 gpu comes close to the a10-7700k comes close to

Solution
Its close to a radeon 7750. As far as 7700k is concerned its similar to a 7750 but think of it as not being as strong. I would say about a 10-15 frame difference on most games. But in all seriousness its better to get a Athlon X4 750K(or 740K if you dont wanna overclock) and buy a good GPU with the money you have left.

The 760K is better than a 750K in terms of being newer and having a higher clockspeed. 760K is Richland whereas 750K is Trinity.

Yes it can. Many people will tell you that APU's are trash but imo they arent bad at all. I mean if you wanna play BF4 with an a10-7850k it will run it fine at 720p. Its only at 1080p that it will struggle. Also, make sure you use dual channel ram with at least 1600mhz frequency. And if you can get 8GB of RAM total.

Yep I agree in all honestly getting a separate CPU and GPU is much better than an all-in-one package.
