My ram slots are going bad?

I was getting bsods so I booted and ran memtest86. it gave me over 4 thousand errors before I stopped the test. I switched the ram stick to slot 2, and I received no errors. Now, a few hours later, slot 2 is giving me lots of errors also.

OK! I cleaned the teeth with an eraser and I'm getting no errors. what does this mean? if I start getting errors again. is it corrosion or something?
